Abstract

Aqidah Akhlak includes teachings of values ??and sharia that must be mastered and applied by students in their daily lives. To achieve this understanding, teachers need to use learning strategies that can motivate students, because strategies play an important role in educational success. This study aims to describe teacher strategies in increasing learning motivation for Aqidah Akhlak in broken home students at MTs NU Assalafie Babakan Ciwaringin Cirebon, the success factors, and the impact of these strategies on students' learning motivation. The approach used is qualitative with a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis is carried out through the stages of data collection, reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that teacher strategies include design approaches and methods such as habituation, role models, cooperation, and peer tutoring. The success of the strategy is determined by internal and external factors of students. The impact can be seen from the increased learning motivation of broken home students, such as diligently doing assignments, persistent in facing difficulties, focusing on learning, and having a strong desire to achieve success.
