Abstract

In essence, children are creatures who are guaranteed to grow and develop as the next generation of the nation's struggle as regulated in Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection which states that children are part of human rights which must be protected, guaranteed and fulfilled by parents, family, community, state, government and local government. However, the reality cannot be ignored that there is still widespread violence against minors in the surrounding environment. This problem must be of special concern to the government so that it can be resolved regarding violations of children's rights to receive protection. The aim of this research is to describe the handling of cases of physical violence against children as an implementation of the role of the Tasikmalaya Regency KPAID in handling cases of violence that befell children. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation which aimed to make it easier for researchers to describe the implementation of the role of the Tasikmalaya Regency KPAID in handling cases of violence against children. The theory used in this research is based on Law Number 35 of 2014 concerning Child Protection. The facts in the field are that the Tasikamalaya Regency KPAID has carried out its role in carrying out efforts to provide child protection and is inseparable from the various obstacles it faces.
